Intakes

The University of North Texas offers two intakes throughout the academic year. These intakes are branched into Fall and Spring Intakes. Each intake at UNT offers a diverse range of course offerings for different study levels.

Mostly all Graduate and Undergraduate programs are available for application in both Spring & Fall intakes. Only select few Graduate programs may not be available in Spring Intake.

UNT Scholarships

The University of North Texas' Toulouse Graduate School offers over $450 million collectively in scholarships, grants, bursaries, and awards for Graduate students across various departments. These UNT scholarships range between $500 per semester to $34,000 per year, depending on the chosen program and specialization.
 

For international Undergraduate students, UNT offers a range of merit-based scholarships, including the UNT Excellence Scholarships, UNT Transfer Excellence Scholarships and Department-Sponsored Scholarships. To apply, students are required to create a student profile on the UNT’s Eagle Scholarship Portal with their EUID and password. Students are also required to answer 20 questions and based on their responses, they will be matched with the suitable scholarships.

Admission Requirement

The University of North Texas (UNT) has established clear eligibility criteria for both Graduate and Undergraduate programs. The University accepts diplomas, certificates or degrees completed at an accredited school, college or university only. Apart from this all-international applicants have to show proof of English language proficiency.
 

The application process is simple and can be completed through the UNT Application Portal or the Common Application. The University of North Texas Admission requirements for Indian students is as mentioned here.

✅Students must have completed UG Degree in relevant background from a recognised institution with 2.8 GPA and above in both STEM and Non-Stem courses.

✅GRE/GMAT Scores requirement varies as per programs. Certain programs may not require these scores at all. 
✅Wherever applicable the minimum score needs to be 300+ for GRE and 500 for GMAT

✅ University of North Texas accepts score of the popular language proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL iBT, Duolingo and PTE. 
✅ The University of North Texas IELTS requirement falls in the bracket of 6.0 to 6.5. 
✅ Students are required to score between 79 to 87 in TOEFL iBT, minimum 53 in PTE, and between 100 to 120 in Duolingo.

✅Students should have successfully completed XII grade with a minimum of 2.5 GPA on the scale of 4.0

✅SAT / ACT scores are optional for admissions

UNT has a variety of activities on the campus including 450 student organizations, public libraries, active clubs that one can explore and make the most of their university experience.
