University of Oregon was established in 1876. Since then, the University has been vital for change and innovation. In terms of research, the University is a part of the Association of American Universities, which is 1 of the 2 members in the Pacific Northwest and the only one in the city.

Intakes

Graduate level applications open in the Fall intake at the University of Oregon. The deadlines can vary depending on the courses and can be set at the beginning of December or as late as 30 days before the beginning of the term. Applications will be reviewed by the University of Oregon Division of Graduate Studies and the University of Oregon.
 

On the Undergraduate level, there are different deadlines like early action, regular deadline, document deadline and other admission deadlines for different intakes. The University has to validate the English Proficiency Results, which may take time. There are 4 intakes offered by the university where in Graduate  applications can be done in all the four intakes but the undergrad applications are open only in Fall Intake.

There are fewer options available for students to apply for graduate studies but it can be a good choice for those who want to start their studies early.

Scholarship Available

There are many University of Oregon Scholarships for International Students  provided at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels. Every year the University provides more than $2.5 million in financial aid and scholarships for international students.
 

The University of Oregon Merit Scholarships do not have specific deadlines, but students need to apply to the University by a particular date to be considered. Admission Requirement

There are different ways for international students to apply for the University of Oregon on different levels. On the Graduate level, international students need to have an Undergraduate degree or an international equivalent. Students need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements and verify sufficient financial support according to US Government regulations.
