Intakes

Whittier College welcomes international students through two major intakes in USA, following the common academic calendar adopted by most American universities. These intakes are held in August(Fall) and January (Spring), providing flexibility for students to plan their academic journey. All bachelor’s programs at the college are available in both sessions, and admission decisions are generally made on a rolling basis.

This is the primary and most popular intake for international students. It allows students to begin their undergraduate studies in line with the traditional academic year.

For those who prefer starting their degree at the beginning of the calendar year, the Spring intake is an excellent choice.

Cost to Study

At Whittier College, tuition fees are confirmed by the Office of International Programs at the time of enrolment. However, the cost of studying at Whittier College is not limited to tuition alone. Students are also expected to pay for additional university-related expenses such as the Student Health Insurance Plan, Student Body Fee, Health & Wellness Fee, Orientation Fee, and other applicable charges.

In addition to academic fees, all international applicants are required to submit the Certification of Finances form during the application process, demonstrating their ability to cover educational and living expenses. Beyond tuition and mandatory fees, students should also factor in the cost of living, which includes accommodation, food, transportation, and personal expenses. These costs can vary significantly depending on lifestyle choices, preferred housing options, and individual spending habits.
