Griffith College, established in 1997, is a leading pathway provider for international students, located within Griffith University’s vibrant campuses in Brisbane City and the Gold Coast. Griffith College is a registered Institute of Higher Education, accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). It offers a wide range of Diploma and associate degree programs, including AQF Level 5 Diplomas across eight fields of study and AQF Level 6 Associate Degrees in Business Management. These programs are specially designed to build academic confidence and allow transitioning directly into the second year of a related Griffith University degree.

Cost of Studying at Griffith College

Scholarships

Griffith College scholarships for international students are based on merit and application. Students may receive up to AUD 10,000 in financial support. In addition, academic excellence is recognised through trimester-end scholarships awarded to top-performing students across all programs, excluding Foundation and campus-specific courses in their first trimester.

Admission Requirement

For Griffith College admission, meeting the eligibility criteria is essential. International applicants need to demonstrate an appropriate level of English Language Proficiency to gain admission into their chosen program. For Indian students interested in applying, specific entry requirements can be checked here. 

Applicants must hold a three-year post-secondary qualification completed after the 12th.
A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised University or tertiary education institution is required, with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

FAQ's

Yes, international students are required to maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their studies in Australia. This health insurance helps cover unexpected medical or hospital expenses that may arise while living abroad.

To receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), students need to accept their offer, pay the required tuition fees and OSHC, submit a copy of their passport, and fulfill any remaining conditions outlined in the offer letter.

Yes, students under 18 can study at Griffith College. However, suitable welfare and accommodation arrangements must be in place prior to their arrival in Australia, and these arrangements must be approved by the College before final documentation is issued.

Griffith College’s pathway programs are ideal for students who don’t meet the direct entry requirements for University studies.  However, students completing the Masters Qualifying Program can begin the first year of a selected Master’s degree. Diploma graduates can progress directly into the second year of a relevant Bachelor’s degree at Griffith University.

Students are not eligible for a Post-Study Work visa after completing only the Diploma program. However, once they complete the full bachelor's degree at Griffith University following their Diploma, they may qualify for a PSW visa valid for 2 to 3 years, depending on the program and location.
