Intakes

Florida Atlantic University offers multiple intakes for both Graduate and Undergraduate Programs. For Graduate Studies, the University uses a centralized application service (CAS), through which applicants can apply to various programs offered across different intakes.
 

For Undergraduate Studies, Florida Atlantic University follows both Early Action and Rolling Admission options. Under the Rolling Admission process, admission decisions are usually issued within approximately four weeks once all required application materials have been submitted, and the application is considered complete.

For graduate programs, assistance is provided for courses under the College of Engineering and the College of Business. Cost to Study

The total cost of studying at Florida Atlantic University includes tuition fees, books and supplies, living expenses, and medical insurance. For Graduate Programs offered under the College of Engineering and the College of Business, tuition fees are generally consistent across programs.
 

For Undergraduate Studies, Florida Atlantic University tuition fees remain the same for the Fall intakes and Spring intakes, while Summer intake fees may vary based on the number of credit hours. Scholarships Available

Florida Atlantic University offers a range of assistantship opportunities for enrolled, degree-seeking graduate students. Available roles include Graduate Teaching Assistants, Graduate Research Assistants, Graduate Assistants, and Graduate Student Workers. Eligible graduate assistants receive a full tuition fee waiver along with health insurance coverage.
 

For undergraduate students, study abroad scholarships are offered exclusively for the Spring and Fall intakes. These are limited in number and awarded on a competitive basis after admission.

Admission Requirement

Florida Atlantic University admission is a two-step process. First, students need to meet all academic requirements for their chosen program of study. Once academic eligibility is confirmed, students need to complete the immigration process by submitting the required documentation to obtain the Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20). Students from India are advised to review the Graduate and Undergraduate entry requirements here.

✅ Students need to have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3.0 to 3.3 out of 4.0

✅ GRE/GMAT: These tests are optional for international students.

✅ TOEFL iBT: An overall score of 79 is accepted.
✅ IELTS: A band of 6.0 is required by all students. 
✅ PTE: A minimum score of 51 is accepted. 
✅ Duolingo: An overall score of 110 is essential.

✅ Students need to have a Standard XII with a minimum of 3.0 GPA out of 4.0

SAT: An overall score of 1220 is necessary.
✅ ACT: A minimum score of 26 is accepted.

TOEFL iBT: An overall score of 80 is required. 
✅ IELTS: An overall band of 6.5 is accepted. 
✅ Duolingo: An overall score of 110 is mandatory.

Placement Overview
