Intakes

RIT provides flexible and structured entry options throughout the academic year, making it easier for international students to align with their personal and academic schedules. The university offers three distinct intakes in August, January, and May. The Spring intake provides entry into all Undergraduate and the majority of Graduate programs, enabling those who miss Fall deadlines to begin mid-year. Classes generally begin in early to mid-January.

RIT’s May intake is more focused, offering all Undergraduate and a limited selection of Graduate degree programs. Though fewer options are available than in other terms, Summer intake supports accelerated timelines and flexibility for those looking to commence studies outside traditional cycles.

Cost of studying at RIT

Scholarships Available

RIT offers a wide variety of funding options for international students at both Undergraduate and Graduate levels, including competitive merit awards and Graduate Assistantships.
